A 'variac' and much more.

An autotransformer (variac) it is, capable of working with loads up to 1000 watts but it is also a isolation transformer to give safety to the worker and equipment.
Well built with only a few minor areas that others have commented concern which I yawned.
It came in securely in an extremely triple box system to assure the 23 pounder arrived without incident.
These folks have a winner. I am very pleased with them and their product.

Seems Decent

Lots of settings and attachments. Should be useful. Bought to replace a plug for a radio. The power supply is some new switching stuff that totally blocks AM. Since no batteries makes no sense! Supposedly a Biden mandate (no surprise).

Could not be more pleased with the product and service provided. Took a while to find a product that combined a variable transformer with a true MAINS, ground isolation. Unlike most cheaper competitors offerings, the digital readout and dial for this transformer is fairly accurate when checked with a DMM. Great product for a hobbyist tech.
